Her Resolutions

1.01.2013

It is that time of the year. Time to make goals. Time to hit the gym, because let's be honest... this is the busiest week at all gyms nation wide. Time to think about who we are and where we want to be. This year will be great. This year will be different. This year will be MY year! We are all thinking it. We are all sitting down making our list. Well. I have been thinking a lot about what I wanted to accomplish this year. And as I read everyone else's lists I decided what I wanted and where I wanted to grow. Here is my list.

My resolutions this year are YEAR long resolutions. Not a bunch of one and done things. Because 2013 is more than just one moment. It is 365 days full of adventure, excitement, and opportunity. Of course there are a lot of things I want to do not on this list. I want to cross more items off my bucket list. I want to sit down and make a craft or two. I want to go camping with my family. I want to learn Spanish. I want to go to Adam's baseball games. I want so many things, but a lot of them will take time or will be done quick. So my resolutions this year are for ALL year long. To better my mind, my body, and my spirit. What are your resolutions? What are you looking forward to in 2013?

Love,
Deidre

Good luck with your resolutions this year! I have tried to quit drinking pop (it was too strange to write "soda")so many different times. It's hard! I am sure you can do it!

As for my goals(& some wishes :-)) for this year I hope to save more, take a lot of mini vacations with the bf and maybe put a ring on it..

Love your list! Treats only for dates and holidays seems pretty tough. I limit myself to a treat once a week ...

Just Shop it!

Hi Deidre,
Thank you for co-hosting the Aloha Friday Blog Hop. I am your newest follower. If you get a chance, please stop by my blog and look around too.
The resolutions are reasonable. Although I'm not really sure about treats being only for dates and holidays. My husband and I would be having dates every night.

These are fabulous. Are you going to break some of them down into smaller, more specific pieces? I'm trying resolutions the Happiness Project way this year (month by month goals), since I, like the majority of the world, never seem to be able to even remember my goals by February.

Which book are you reading now? My next book is The Red Tent, and I can't wait to start it.

xo!
