Hello I'm Melanie Zelnick from meandmr.com. Deidre and I met in college, I have always been so impressed by how hard working and driven she is. With that being said, I'm thrilled to be guest posting today!
A little bit about me:
I was married at 21 and since then my husband and I have lived in New York City, Provo, and most recently San Francisco.
I love farmer's market, French macaroons, and breakfast.
Today I would like to share with you one of my favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipes!
2 1/4 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups (12 ounces) chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl cream butter, sugar and brown sugar until light. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add flour mixture until combined. Stir in chips and walnuts.
Drop by well-rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Enjoy!
Thank you again Deidre for letting me guest post today!

If she makes cookies as good as she dresses. You'll love this treat. Honestly. She is so trendy.

Deidre
