Dear 7 Questions,

4.18.2012

It is time for 7 Questions! (don't mind all the white space... I couldn't get the double spacing to go away... who has two thumbs and actually can't use a computer? This girl!)

This picture is from talent at Miss Idaho 2011... did I realize I made that face when I danced? No... Will I be making it again this year when I dance? No!

1. What is your favorite App? (even if you don't have a smart phone I'm sure you've played around with someone else's)
Insta! Insta! Insta! Obviously my choice is going to be instagram. I am addicted. Love finding a reason to take a picture of everything. And love seeing photos of my friends instead of just a status, it is like I am always there with them... (can we say creepy?) But for realsies. I love Instagram. And so now go find me, my username is deejmbl.

2. You have to come up with a book title on the spot- what is it? (don't think- just say!)
And All the Glory... okay. Not sure where that came from. Actually. Yes I am. Prepare for a little venting and whining, if you don't want it, move to the next question. I compete in pageants. I am getting ready for Miss Idaho. Sometimes I get really frustrated, which I should not, because I feel like girls are competing for the glory. And I get to involved emotionally in what I am doing and what everyone else is doing. Needs. To. Stop. And All the Glory.

3. You are given the choice between laughing at everything- always, or never being able to laugh again. Which would you choose?
Laughing. I feel like I have gotten pretty good at suppressing my laugh to just an internal shake. You know, the kind of shaking you see going on during an awkward prayer (shouldn't your eyes be closed!?) or during a really awkward talk or serious moment. So if I can laugh like I like to laugh, and suppress when I shouldn't be laughing. I am down for the cause.

4. What natural disaster scares you the most? (tornado, hurricane, earthquake, flood, etc)
Earthquake. Maybe because we had an earthquake drill at work yesterday. And it is the only one that I think can actually happen where I live.

5. What time do you wake up each day? What time do you go to sleep?
This is... a difficult question. If I shower in the morning I need to get up by 6:30. But usually I vote to shower at night so I get up at 7:05. And I always try to be asleep by 12... in bed by however long before that I need to watch an episode or three of Toddlers and Tiaras.

6. (question courtesy of Katie) Who's your daddy, and what does he do?
My dad is Mr. Kenneth Dee Edmunds. And he is the best Dad a girl could EVER have. And I am not just saying that because he might read this blog (per my Mother's suggestion), but because I really believe that. At least he is the perfect Dad for me. He works as... whatever he wants! Right now he is doing projects in North Dakota building homes and warehouses. He is also on the Idaho State Board of Education. He does forensic accounting. And he is running for the Northwest Youth Soccer Association President. He is incredibly smart and can remember numbers like it is no one's business. He is honest (no matter what the situation). And he is a hard working and helpful man. And I love him very much!

7. What's the craziest dream you've ever had? (like an actual dream- while you were sleeping)
I never remember my dreams longer than an hour. If I really need to tell someone about a dream they had, they will get a text right when I wake up with a brief summary. If I do that, I can usually remember at least the part they were in. The only dream I can remember is one I had almost every night when I was a little girl. It went like this. Mom went grocery shopping at the "Slip 'n Slide" grocery store. Slipped, slid, and broke her back. Had to go to the hospital. My brothers and I had to use the groceries to pack a picnic and then we went to meet our Dad. We all sat down to eat, and I ate everything and got to my cupcake. Now, did any of you ever have those cupcakes with a clown topper from the grocery store? Well I looked at my clown topper and it was missing so I looked over the hill and these scary clowns were coming at my family. But my family wasn't there. I was all alone and they were coming to kidnap me! But when they got close I would always wake up. Needless to say. I hate clowns. And slip and slide grocery stores.

SEND IN THE CLOWNS! Just kidding. Don't do it.
But you can help a sister out.

Love,
Deidre

Oh my garsh! You're hilarious! And I think your face in the dancy picture is cute.. Don't know what you're seein'! And as far as scariest natural disaster I'm going to agree with earthquakes! All the others you can run away from..But not an earthquake..unless you get on a helicopter and hover for a bit... And there's some kind of warning system for the others...But not for earthquakes.. Boo. Earthquakes are dumb.
