Winter Swimmers

1.07.2014

I am on the hunt for a swimsuit. It seems a little early for summer, I know. And it seems a little very early considering winter in Utah lasts until like... May. But I am not looking for a summer swimsuit! I am looking for a winter swimsuit. Why you ask? Because Adam and I headed to the Caribbean soon! YEYEAHHHHH! You might be thinking you are jealous. But. It is fair. Because. While all of you went on your summer vacays I got to sit at home, husbandless. Because my summer is no longer summer. It is baseball season. So we are taking our trips in the dead of winter. Okay. You should be jealous. But... now I am also mad because while the rest of the world bought swimsuits this summer I decided I didn't need one. And now I realize... shopping for swimsuits in winter is tough! Here are a few of my favorites.

Swimsuits in Winter

So note to self and note to all of you. If you plan on going somewhere warm in the winter, get your suits when it is still warm! Otherwise you will have a heck of a time finding one that is reasonably priced and your options are limited. Unless someone can direct me to some good suits? Where do you shop for swimsuits? Any suggestions?

Shopping for swimsuits is tough for me too and I live in Cali. I was looking for bathing suit bottoms for our vacation last month. I had to go to one of our Beach towns to a store that is all bathing suits just so I'd have a selection. I like the black and yellow.

My Target actually has a lot of suits out already. I hate swimsuit shopping but then again I don't think I've ever met a girl who does.

I already said some stuff on facebook but to elaborate: yeah. Add in the fact tht I'm looking for plus size bathing suits (hard to find already in the summer) and I have had quite a hard time. I finally found a pair of bottoms and just decided to wear the same top and switch out bottoms throughout the cruise. It's all I can do! Like I said , living in Florida you would think they would have swim suits year round! I mean just this weekend people were at the beach. But nope...impossible! I hope you have fun in the Caribbean!

What about Lime Ricki? I used to hate them because they have terrible customer service, but I THINK they've gotten better and are somewhat affordable. Also, NORDSTROM has way cute ones.

I got a great one-piece from Boden a few months ago. You should check them out!
