Dear 7 Questions,

4.04.2012

It is time for a little...

We start with an embarrassing photo, but actually not that embarrassing since it is on Facebook... and has probably been sent to a lot of people. These faces are typical. Welcome to a Sunday afternoon with Adam and me.

1. If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?
Super cliche and same as most, but to fly. How awesome would that be? Just cruising around with the wind in my hair.

2. If you could hold the world record for something, what would it be for and why?
Obviously I would choose baking the world's largest pie. Jokes, but that would be cool. If I could hold the world record for anything it would be for largest collection of fortune cookie fortunes. Is that weird, or what? I keep any and all fortunes I can find and put them in a box. A bizarre collection? You bet!

3. What is the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
That would have to be.... oh my gosh I have eaten way too many weird things... let me list a few. Fish eggs (that I got out of the fish myself, thank you high school science class), cow jaw, a tulip, chicken heart, octopus, alligator, the plants in Tomorrowland at Disneyland...

4. Where would you hide something if you didn't want it to be found?
I always hide things I don't want found in my underwear drawer... because what person really wants to go dig through someone else's underwear. But I guess now that I told you that I need a new hiding place.

5. What is one of your Spring and/ or Easter traditions?
My favorite Easter tradition is the Easter bunny. I am so excited to finally be that bunny this year! I love giving gifts. And my favorite Spring tradition would have to be Sunday afternoon naps out in the sun, just lazing on the grass.

6. Would you rather have to make all of your own clothes (including patterns), cook dinner from scratch every night, or walk everywhere you wanted to go?
I would definitely pick cooking dinner from scratch every single night. I have started to love cooking this year. Not only because I am doing it more and learning fun new recipes from all my newlywed besties, But because I actually have someone to cook for now. And he appreciates my food no matter how burnt, overcooked, or actually decent it is.

7. What is your most embarrassing moment? I know, big one.
Okay... this is weird. And I will be honest, I do not share my MOST MOST MOST embarrassing moment with anyone. So if you really want to know it you will have to comment, write me an email, tweet at me, or something... and if you ask really nice or cleverly, I will tell you. Which means I probably wont have to tell anyone because I know no one will follow up. So my next most embarrassing moment. When I was younger my family would all do yard work together when it got warm, but lets be honest, I am the youngest and the only girl... and I was slightly (my Dad would say extremely) lazy when it came to yard work. So my brothers were weeding and I was to rake up all the weeds and throw them away. While I was waiting for enough weeds to accumulate I was stepping on the rake and catching it with my hand. Can you see where this is going? Well just stepping and catching was getting boring so I decided to see how fast I could move my hand up from the side of my body to catch the rake... and I missed. The rake hit me straight in the face. Hard. And I was left with a giant goose egg and almost instantaneous black eye under my right eye. Awesome...

Love,
Deidre

I'm dying to know your #1 most embarrassing story - you are totally setting yourself up there because now we all want to know! :)
The fish eggs in science class sounds a bit sketchy - you are brave!
